Children's Ministry

If you have a little one, we have several places for them to be during Sunday service. If you would like to attend service without your child, we offer a shared space where they are given attention and care by our BGCC volunteers.

We believe that children need a space to play, explore, and learn. While in this environment, we provide plenty of opportunities for them to move and stay active. We also believe it’s never too early to start teaching Biblical truths. Telling simple stories and singing memorable songs can ingrain Biblical truths. Wonder Ink Curriculum helps us accomplish this goal and advances our toddlers biblically, academically, and developmentally.

Preschoolers are at a fun age of exploration and excitement. Our ministry focuses on meeting them where they are and introducing them to the faith they will hold on to for the rest of their lives. Following Wonder Ink curriculum, they are taught Bible stories and learn to repeat simple Bible words.

During this phase, kids are taught to find and read verses and stories from the Bible independently. Each week we strive to present Biblical truths in creative, memorable ways. Our kids are introduced to elements of worship- singing songs of praise and an introduction to communion and offering. We use Wonder Ink curriculum and love it!

Awana is a program used all around the world to help kids of all ages get connected with each other and grow in their faith. Awana has different curriculum for each age group. With planned activities led by trained leaders, your kids will learn biblical truths while having fun!

We want every child to be able to come and learn about Jesus. Each child has a different set of needs, and we try to plan for those needs to make Sundays edifying and encouraging for everyone. If your child needs a break from the noise or high-pace of the classroom or service, you are welcome to accompany them in our sensory room.
