BABIES & TODDLERS

When and Where

Our environment for infants and toddlers is open and available on Sunday mornings during the 10:30am service. Simply head to the Commons for check-in. If you prefer to keep your little one with you during worship, we are happy to have them join us there as well! Please rest assured that baby and toddler noise is expected, but if you decide your child needs a break for whatever reason, head to the commons where you will find a comfy spot for you and your child. If you need help finding it, grab an usher for assistance on your way out. They'll be happy to show you the way!

Curriculum

Babies are given attention and care, and toddlers play and explore as we provide lots of opportunities for them to move and stay active. We believe that children start learning before we realize they are, so it's never too early to start teaching Biblical truths. In our nursery environment, we tell simple stories and sing memorable songs that ingrain Biblical truths. Palma Smiley Early Childhood Curriculum helps us accomplish this goal and advance our infants biblically, academically, and developmentally.

We want to provide little ones with their first look at who God is and help them begin to understand:

  • God Made Me - For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:13-14)
  • God Loves Me - For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
  • Jesus Wants to be My Friend Forever - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
