Navigating the challenges of middle school can be difficult, which is why we’ve created a welcoming environment where middle schoolers can feel comfortable and forge meaningful friendships. Within this positive atmosphere, we facilitate discussions about the Gospel and its impact on their lives and the community. As our middle schoolers begin to shape their identities, our aim is to instill three fundamental truths crucial for their walk with Christ:
- I will love God because He will never stop loving me – “We love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19).
- I will follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself – “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them” (Psalm 139:13-16).
- I will live out God’s story so that others will know who Jesus is – “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35).
