what to expect

Worship Services

Our worship services last about an hour and begin with worship through music, followed by practical, Biblical teaching, which is centered on Jesus and the message of God's grace. Our goal in this is not the transfer of information, but life transformation. This is why we gather, and we're so glad you're planning to join us!

We're currently offering two services on Sundays: 8:45 & 10:30am. Services are held at 1912 Smallhouse Road, Bowling Green, KY. Our 10:30am service is also live streamed, and you can watch it here, through the "Sundays" tab in the app, or by going directly to live.bowlinggreenchristian.org.

Kids & Youth

Due to social distancing and cleaning requirements, we have adjusted our schedule for kids and youth programming. For now, we will be offering Sunday morning environments for kids 5th grade and under. Both in-person and virtual, on-demand options are available. Click here for more information about these options, along with details about Sunday evening programming for middle and high schoolers.

Please know that the safety of your kids is a priority. We have put multiple safety measures in place to protect them during their time with us, including ID tags for Kids Place (with unique codes to match children with their parents), volunteer safety monitors, and an interior and exterior surveillance system. In addition, all of our kids and student ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

Plenty of parking is available on our campus, with handicap parking located near the main entrance of our facility.

Guest Services

Guest Services are tricky in the age of coronavirus. We see lots of new faces, so we don't always know when it's someone's first visit, especially when everyone is wearing a mask. Please reach out and let one of our Guest Services team members know it's your first time, and they will guide you! If you prefer to just slip in and go unnoticed, they will be happy to direct you to an open seat in the back. We won't publicly acknowledge you or direct unwanted attention to you. We do have a gift for you that you can grab on your way in or out.

We don't have a dress code. Jeans and a t-shirt. Shorts and flip-flips. Or a suit and tie. Whatever is most comfortable for you!

Food and Drink

We're not serving coffee at this time. This is a huge adjustment.
