Gifts for the King is a special opportunity that allows us to worship through directed giving. This offering helps us accomplish some goals and dreams that aren't provided for in our general fund. This year we are focused on the following goals...
Food for food shelters
Times are hard, and many in our community are struggling. We have an opportunity to make a difference right now. A portion of what we raise will go directly to helping those in need of food through our local food shelters. Together, we can bring hope and relief to our neighbors who need it most.
Commons sound proofing
Our Commons is a big, busy space that brings people together—but it can get pretty loud! We want to make conversations easier and the space more comfortable by adding soundproofing panels to the walls.
Sound equipment for youth wing
Our Youth Wing is an important space used by many in our church, including our youth group and Vacation Bible School. Recently, our students have started a worship band, but much of their equipment is old and no longer works well. We want to give them the tools they deserve to grow in their gifts and lead others in worship.
New BGCC sign
BGCC needs a new sign out front. Our current sign is difficult to see, outdated, and doesn’t include important information—like our service times. We want to update it so that our community can easily find us and know what we’re about. A new sign will help us better connect with our neighbors and share the welcome and message of our church.
