BGCC Staff

Below is a list of our ministry staff.  In addition to full-time staff, our office is staffed by a great team of volunteers, and general office/church questions can be directed to: office@bowlinggreenchristian.org.

  • Weston williams, Senior minister

Weston joined the BGCC family in January 2005. He and his wife, Jenny, have three children: Bailey, Caleb, and Miles. Weston attended Ozark Christian College, graduated from Azusa Pacific University, received a master's degree from Fuller Seminary and a doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He thinks he's really funny and sometimes is.

  • Brian Luna, Worship Minister

Brian has been a member of BGCC since 2007. He graduated Western Kentucky University in 2017 with a degree in Physics. He is married to his wife, Katie. Brian was a member of the 2011 Parks & Recreation BGCC dodgeball team.

  • robin cox, connection Minister

Robin joined the BGCC family in 1982. She just wouldn't leave, so after thirty years we brought her on staff. She graduated from WKU with degrees in Political Science and Writing, which provide absolutely no insight into her current position. She and her husband, Kevin, have two children, Emma and Carter.

  • Jenny Williams, Children's Minister

Jenny has been part of the BGCC family since 2005. She is in charge of our Sunday children's programs, including Sunday Night AWANA. She is also leading our VBS team and Christmas Choir team. She and her husband, Weston, have three children: Bailey, Caleb, and Miles.

  • Cara Bedo, Pre-Teen Minister

Cara has been a member of BGCC since 2001. She serves with our middle school and Bridge (pre-teen) students. She has degrees in Elementary Education and Spanish from WKU. She and her husband, Ben have three children: Emma Claire, Reese, and Jude. Cara took this job so she could keep going to camp.

  • Peyton Abbott, Interim Sr. High Minister

Peyton joined our staff in August, 2017 when Jared Graves left  after ministering to our teens for close to 10 years to accept a preaching ministry in Ohio. Peyton will be working with our teens as we look for a permanent replacement.
